The Enchanted Bookshop

A 9-week session that will let students dive deeply into character development skills and scene work whilst playing their part and rehearsing for the final production. They will work together to create “The Enchanted Bookshop”, by having the opportunity to assist with set and costume designs.

Protecting our Nation’s Birds

Where: Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn

Take a tour of the history as you are introduced to it, and of fulfilling the mission of the USFWS’ National Wildlife Refuge System.Joel Vos, Education Coordinator at US Fish and Wildlife Service-Savannah Coastal Refuge Complex, will host the event at the Coastal Discovery Museum.


Sweetgrass Basket Making Classes

11th Annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival

Where:  Hilton Head Island

It is another weeklong cultural and culinary tourism highlighting the sommeliers, local seafood, artisans, top chefs, and mixologists, with live music and wildlife. Hosted by the David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation at various locations.


22nd Annual Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration

The 22nd Annual Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration at various locations. the rich cultural heritage of the Gullah people and their history on Hilton Head Island is celebrated in a month-long celebration showcasing their talents, art exhibitions, gospel concerts, festivals, tours, lectures and more. 


Antique Appraisal & Auction

Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra presents “Porgy and Bess in Concert”

When: 26 February 2018 8:00 pm

Where: Arts Center of Coastal Carolina

The Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra presents “Porgy and Bess in Concert” featuring the Hilton Head Symphony Chorus at First Presbyterian Church. A story that was set in the 1930s in an African-American Charleston neighborhood known as Catfish Row, Porgy and Bess centers on the tragic love story of the cripple beggar Porgy, the beautiful cocaine addict Bess, and her abusive partner Crown and features such iconic songs as “Summertime,” “It Ain’t Necessarily So” and “I Got Plenty of Nothing.”
