“Selling Savannah With a Smile” -- that’s my personal slogan. It reflects my day-to-day approach to real estate. I LOVE what I do!
I am a proud Savannah native. I was born and raised in this gorgeous city and began my real estate career in it nearly 25 years ago. I’ve been a broker for a dozen years and a real estate instructor for a decade. I had real estate in my blood at birth -- my father was a developer (he developed malls and Walmarts across the Southeast).
My real estate career began with interior decorating. I have always loved going into a room and transforming its style to fit my client’s personality and taste.
When I married my husband in 1992, I jumped with two feet into this profession I love. My husband’s Savannah real estate brokerage was the largest independent firm in the city from the 1970s until the early ’90s. He now runs one of the longest-running real estate schools in Georgia.
In my spare time I love spending time on the water -- shrimping, crabbing and boating -- and gardening. If I could wear flip-flops, shorts and a Life Is Good T-shirt every day of my life, I’d be a happy girl.
One of my favorite things in the world is to sit on our Southern-style swing on our wraparound, front porch with our two furry dogs nearby and feel the marsh breeze blowing against my skin and smell the scent of the nearby flowers and lime trees it carries with it.
After graduating from Savannah Country Day School and the University of Georgia, I decided to spend the rest of my life in the city that raised me. I spent a stint as a first-grade teacher before jumping into real estate.
My husband and I live on the water in Savannah, and we love it. We feel so blessed and lucky to live here. We think it’s the most beautiful place on earth. Once you put your roots down here you won’t ever regret buying a home in Savannah.
