Why Real Estate?

I love being a Real Estate agent because buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction, it’s an opportunity to build a relationship. Most real estate revolves around life changes, which can be very complicated and stressful times. My job is to be a trusted advisor who can advocate for my clients and navigate the journey.

What cause are you passionate about?

I became a supporter of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption after adopting my 2 boys. I became more invested and involved as I learned more about the Foundation’s mission to help children in the foster system find their forever homes regardless of their age. As a real estate agent, I understand the importance of finding the right home.

What are some surprising facts about you?

·       I attended Florida State University and am a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.

·        In high school, I worked at Taco Bell for the discount. Tacos are still one of my favorite foods.

·       Once when I was working with clients to sell their home, I met a sweet Golden Retriever they were fostering. When I sold their house, they moved on and I came home with a Golden Retriever named Champ.

·       I love traveling internationally because it’s a great way to expand your knowledge and perspective. I have been to Russia 5 times and have traveled to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Barbados for yoga/surfing retreats.

What are your favorite getaway spots in the Lowcountry?

I’m lucky enough to work in Old Town Bluffton, which means I’m within walking distance of a lot of great shops and restaurants. When I need a break, I walk to The Corner Perk coffee shop and buy a Café Americano. Or, if it’s Thursday, I walk to the Farmer’s Market and check out what goodies they have to offer. When I have an actual day off, I love to treat myself to a Girls’ Day at one of the area’s many spas. If I’m really lucky, I visit Montage at Palmetto Bluff, eat Truffle fries and sip on my favorite margarita, the Octa-quila.
